Dr.
Eddie Kotary is a 1993
graduate of the University of Delaware where
he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Business Administration with minors in
Economics and Biology. He completed
his graduate studies at the University of
Pennsylvania and received a Doctorate
in Dental Medicine in 1998. He concurrently
received a masters degree in
business (MBA) from Temple University. Dr.
Eddie Kotary has had extensive
training in implantology and Tip Edge
Orthodontics as well as being an Invisalign
Premier Provider. He is a member of the
American Dental Assiciation (ADA,)
Pennsylvania Dental Association (PADA,)
International Congress of Oral
Implantology (ICOI,) Academy
of General Dentistry (AGD,) and the Academy
of Computerized Dentistry of
North America. He has achieved Fellowship
and Mastership status from the
ICOI. He regularly attends continuing
education seminars and training so
that he may provide the latest technological
advances to his

patients. He is also the
head of the
Special Smiles program for the Pennsylvania
Summer Games Special Olympics
since 2003. In his spare time, Dr. Kotary
enjoys spending time with his
wife Jocelyn and their two children Hope and
Paige.

Dr.
April Detar
graduated from The Pennsylvania State
University in 1996 with a Bachelor
of Science Degree in biochemistry and a
minor in psychology. She went on
to receive a Doctorate of Dental Medicine
from the University of Pittsburgh
School of Dentistry in 2000 where she was a
member of the Omicron Kappa
Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. In
2001 she completed her General
Practice Residency at Allegheny General
Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, and
joined the practice. Dr. Detar believes
continuing education is the key
to delivering top-notch evidence-based
dentistry. She has had extensive
training in Tip Edge Orthodontics and
actively participates
in a Tip Edge Study Group
in Secaucus, NJ. In addition, she is
certified with Invisalign and ClearCorrect
clear aligner orthodontics. Dr. Detar has
also had extensive training in
Implantology, receiving her training at both
the Bicon Institute of Implantology
and the Medical University of South
Carolina. She is also

certified to place MDI
small diameter
implants. Dr. Detar further enjoys cosmetic
dentistry and is certified in
Lumineers and Cerec restorations. Nitrous
Oxide Sedation is yet another
service she provides to patients who are
anxious to undergo dental care. She is a
member of the ADA, AGD, PDA, the Academy of
Computerized Dentistry of North America, the
International Association for Orthodontics,
and the International Congress of Oral
Implantologists.
Serving her community is an integral part of
Dr. Detar's profession. She is a graduate of
Leadership Centre County 2008, where she
volunteers her time treating dental patients
for Centre Volunteers in Medicine. Dr. Detar
also participates annually in Give Kids a
Smile! Day. Finally, Dr. Detar is
an ambassador for People to People, where
she was part of the Dental Public Health
Delegation to China in 2008.
Dr. Detar is married to her husband, Chris
Magent, and they have two adorable shelties,
Sunshine and Rayne. When she can find the
time, she enjoys traveling, golfing,
scrapbooking and exercising.

Dr.
Julie Hollobaugh
grew up in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. She
graduated from Juniata College
in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Biology. She went on to receive
a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the
University of Pittsburgh in 1999.
After dental school, Dr. Hollobaugh was an
active-duty dentist in the United
States Army for six years. She completed a
one-year advanced education residency
at the hospital and dental clinics at Fort
Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina.
She was also stationed in Colorado and
Germany. During her three-year tour
in Germany she deployed to Iraq, providing
dental treatment to soldiers and
Iraqi citizens during Operation
Iraqi Freedom. After her
honorable discharge, Dr. Hollobaugh and her
husband were drawn back to central
Pennsylvania to start a family and establish
roots. She and her husband
Matthew have two children, Owen and Mia. Dr.
Hollobaugh is a member of the
ADA, PADA, and AGD. She continues to expand
|
her knowledge and skills
by attending
continuing education seminars and hands-on
workshops so that she can provide
technologically advanced, quality care for
her patients. She is currently
attending courses at the prestigious Las
Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental
Studies (LVI).

A native of Whitehall,
PA, Dr. Schuster
has returned to Pennsylvania
after practicing in Southwest Virginia for
22 years. Dr. Schuster received
a B.S. in Health Planning and Administration
from Penn State University
in 1979. He received his D.D.S. from Temple
University School of Dentistry
in 1983. Dr. Schuster has been in private
practice for 27 years, and has
served on various committees of the Virginia
Dental Association, and is
a former President of the Southwest Virginia
Dental Society. Dr. Schuster is also
Invisalign certified. He, and his wife Tami,
are proprietors of
"Our Fair Lady" a Victorian Bed and
Breakfast (www.ourfairladybnb.com) in
Bellefonte.
